ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS PAID TO CONSULTANTS TO LOBBY THE STATE GOVERNMENT WITH FAKE PETITIONS
OVER A MILLION DOLLARS IN LEGAL COSTS ON VARIOUS COURT CASE
How about the fact that Liverpool Council is heading toward a $100 million dollar deficit that is only being offset with the sale of Council Assets like
Land at Hammondville $8 million dollars
3 Hoxton Park Rd $14 million dollars
33 Moore St Liverpool $70 million dollars
What happens when there is nothing left to sell?
Now that's great financial management isn't it ?
YOUR RATES NOT AT WORK
In the last two years and eight months this is where we have landed.
The reality is that Liverpool Council has ended up with a Deficit of approximately $12 million dollars, in the last 12 months after it returned to zero in 2022/23.
The surplus of $2 million currently projected and being spruiked by the Mayor of Liverpool is dependent on the sale of Council Assets and there are issues regarding the sale of those assets.
Competent, Experienced Staff have been lost due to the Restructure imposed in 2022 where they were made to reapply for their jobs.
CRONYISM has been at HIGH levels with numerous Liberal Party Colleagues and Associates hired.
EX Liberal Party MPs, Liberal Party Councillors from Sutherland and Bankstown Councils, Liberal Party Staffers and other associates and even one of the Mayor's personal Solicitors.
The termination of the two CEOs during this term of Council plus a few Acting CEOs has cost ratepayers over a million dollars in early termination payments payments.
Think of the Court cases that Luverpool Council is involved in and the money spent.
BROKEN PROMISES over 1000 days from when they were made.
MISSING MILLIONS IN FUNDING
Where has the $28 million dollars worth of funding promised for the Holsworthy Aquatic centre made in March 2023 gone?
And the list goes on.
The Residents and Ratepayers of Liverpool cannot afford the consequences of the continued Risky, Reckless and Rash decisions that have been made by the Mayor of Liverpool.
