LIVERPOOL COUNCIL ELECTION TO PROCEED  - PRAY FOR A MIRACLE AND HELP CREATE ONE 

Negotiations between the Minister for Local Government and Liverpool City Council were held on Thursday with a WIN, WIN WIN outcome for the Minister, LCC and most importantly residents and Ratepayers of Liverpool who ultimately foot the bill of all the legal costs. 

THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MINISTER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT and LIVERPOOL COUNCIL ALLOWS THE COUNCIL ELECTION TO PROCEED and the PUBLIC INQUIRY TO PROCEED on the basis that an Appeal against Judgment has been withdrawn.

LET THE ELECTION CAMPAIGN BEGIN 

Official announcement - Michael Andjelkovic Independent Councillor for Liverpool from December 2021 which still applies almost three years later. 

I am pleased to officially announce that I will be contesting for Liverpool Council at the election on the 4th September 2021. 

As an independent community campaigner since March 2018 I have been able to work with various groups in the Liverpool Community and believe that I have achieved a lot however, I have been limited in the decision making process of Liverpool Council by being an outsider. 

By being an Independent Councillor I believe that I can provide a more balanced approach to issues rather than being tied to Political Party Platform and Loyalties. 

I will continue to "Put Liverpool First" just as I have done since early 2018 when I first started campaigning for multi level carparks at Edmondson Park

I hope that I have done enough over the years and achieved the results to have earned your respect, your trust and your vote at the upcoming Council Election. 

I am running as an Ungrouped Candidate and therefore need you to VOTE BELOW THE LINE AS SHOWN in the Photo.

As you are hopefully aware I have worked full time Voluntarily as the Independent Community Campaigner for the Liverpool community, Parents and People of Faith since March 2018. 

While I have registered as a Candidate for the upcoming Council Elections and had hoped that the Minister for Local Government would have stepped in and appointed an Administrator to Liverpool Council based on information that I am aware of in addition to the interim report that was published but then withdrawn by the Office of Local Government.

Which needs a minimum of three (3) candidates to have a number placed next to their name. 

WHY I NEED YOUR HELP  

While the Mayor of Liverpool and his Liberal Party voting block have been campaigning at Ratepayers expense since October 2023 I only have 7 days of Prepolling plus Election day to try and secure 9500 votes to fill a quota needed to be elected. 

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES as that is whatI will need to get elected.
