We’re proud to share that over 170,000 of you have now signed Remake’s petition, demanding brands pay suppliers for orders dating as far back as March and April. As a result, 17 brands have promised to #PayUp, unlocking over $600 million in Bangladesh, as well as an estimated $7.5 billion globally. THANK YOU — we could not do this alone. However, while this is no small victory, there is still more work to be done.

Brands including Gap, Urban Outfitters, Arcadia Group, Fashion Nova, Primark, and Anthropologie have yet to #PayUp. We’ve seen shareholder payouts occur while workers go unpaid, and we also know that certain brands are deleting #PayUp comments on their social media accounts as a way to try and shut down the conversation.

As Remake continues to fight for garment makers who have yet to be paid for their labor, we ask that you consider making a donation to our organization so that we can continue to sustain this advocacy campaign with full force.

Furthermore, to continue to receive campaign news, please subscribe to our newsletter for once-a-month updates.

Together, let’s make fashion a force for good.

In solidarity,

The Remake Team
