Most of us pay well over £9000 for this education annually and we recognise that the compensation is not relative to what many of us students are missing out on. This is the second strike just this term and the implications on our learning has undoubtedly effected many of us. Not only has it impacted our learning, which is invaluable, but it has also left us in a position where we are not receiving the services that we pay such a sizeable amount for. We know that even £500 does not fully cover what some of us are missing out on but this should be the least this institution should offer as the new mark of compensation for those worst effected. We sincerely hope the university sympathises with the students' discontent and understands these demands as fair and necessary. Hopefully this can be resolved swiftly and respectfully, but we propose a student strike on the week starting the 20th of April if the demands are not met.
