During this COVID-19 pandemic, students have been forced into financial insecurities, academic delays, and anxious times.  As a united student body, we are calling the UM administration to please support students by reducing the summer continuing fees for certain groups that have completed their academic work or are on clinical placements. It seems incongruent that students are required to pay large Summer-continuing fees even when they are not on campus. This discrepancy is compounded by the fact that student services are reduced during the summer term. We hereby ask for the UM administration to reconsider and to reduce the Summer Continuing Fees.
