Due to the severity of COVID-19, there are over 4.3 million confirmed cases in the world. The number of cases is increasing drastically every day, and this deadly virus is losing its control over all the world. That being said, the majority of schools and universities have announced to be closed in Sept, and that should not be an excuse for the University of Manitoba to continue any classes in-person. Better yet, it is extremely dangerous to risk student lives, and online classes are efficient for students to study at home. Therefore, we are here to plead the principle of the University of Manitoba to close all classes (including Faculty of Architecture and other in-person classes), and should practice remote lessons in the Fall 2020 and Winter 2020.
