The University of Central Florida Student Government Association has implemented a reservation system for tailgating for football games. There are some major issues with the system:

1. The online system is difficult to navigate. 

2. What if the party who made the reservation doesn't show up to claim their spot at all, or aren't on time? Are these spots going to be left vacant?

2a. What if someone doesn't show up to claim their spot, my party moves in on it because we are on time, several hours later, suddenly someone shows up claiming we are on their reserved area. Are we going to be kicked out?

3. Is there going to be a person or group charged with ensuring the right people are getting their reserved spots?

4. Many people have already stated that they would be unable to tailgate on Memory Mall for the first home football game because they were unable to reserve a spot because many of them were at work, etc. This is not fair. With the traditional system, people could take off from work and make other arrangements because they had months in advance to prepare with the football schedule being set. With the new system, people have to take off work and make other arrangements on both the registration day and game day which is extremely inconvenient. 

There is a certain tradition associated with the old way. Students and team supporters would wake up early and rush to Memory Mall with all of their gear where they would setup their tents to claim their spots. The new system doesn't support this tradition and we believe this tradition should still be around!

This new system is especially unfair to our UCF seniors. These students have worked hard for years to become seniors and many of them will be unable to tailgate for many football games because they are unable to get to a computer and reserve their spot on time. 

The simple solution is to have UCF SGA remove this reservation system and return it to the way it used to be.
