We request the university to take our final exams in online mode as we are already at home and in the middle of practical exams. 

We are not willing to give offline exams at such short notice. Most of us live far away from the campus and our time will be wasted in travel. 

We petition to give online exams from the first week of February. 

We the students of university of Dr. Y. S. Parmar want for online exams to be conducted for the following reasons.

-> Many of the students have their homes in containment zones with a high risk of infection. 

-> The mental state of students is disturbed as members of their family are covid positive and sick. 

-> The students of the north-east and other far away states are finding it difficult to travel all the way back to the campus in this situation of uncertainty. Travel is a major issue during this time due to rising cases as well as expenses. 

-> Hostel accomodities are also not at par with the requirement according to covid-19 protocols and are rather cramped. 

->Testing for covid-19 is lacking for the safety of the students. 

We would all, as a majority request you to conduct the final examination for BSc. Forestry, Horticulture and Biotechnology in online mode or provide us with more time to prepare for the same in offline mode.
