The Vue Manchester Printworks IMAX has announced that it will be closing until November 16 to upgrade their projection system to 4K laser. This marks the first 'traditional' IMAX venue in the UK, with a 1.43:1 screen, to do so. Upon reopening, it should (hopefully) be able to screen First Man in its proper presentation, as well as other IMAX 70mm-shot releases such as Wonder Woman 1984 without the need for prints. Whether the 15/70mm projector will still remain is currently unknown.
