Universal: Fan tips for the future of the 'Universal Monsters' brand

The Issue

First off, the 2017 film titled 'The Mummy' should be retroactively renamed 'The Mummy: The Wrath of Ahmanet', since it is not based on either the 1932 'The Mummy' film or the 1999 'The Mummy' film. The new title should be shown in the film itself for all future home video releases, digital copy platform releases, TV airings, and theatrical screenings and for streaming services.

Future 'Universal Monsters' projects should be set in the Dark Universe, with the focus being on solo stories for each of the monsters & monster groups, as opposed to crossover stories.

The Dark Universe franchise needs to be headed by die-hard 'Universal Monsters' fans.

The films, TV series, etc of the Dark Universe franchise should have big budgets and should be suitable for ages 7 & up, like the original 'Universal Monsters' films, except for the fact that there should exist 3 cuts of each of this franchise's werewolf stories, with the 1st cut being suitable for ages 7 & up, the 2nd cut being of a hard PG-13 nature, and the 3rd cut being of an R nature. With the non-family-friendly cuts of the Dark Universe franchise's werewolf stories, the way that they should work is that they simply show parts of the werewolves' hunts & rampages that aren't shown in the family-friendly cuts, so that all 3 cuts can be canonical. For each Dark Universe franchise project, on home video, digital copy platforms, and streaming services, there should be the option to watch them in black-&-white. For future home video releases and digital copy platform releases, and on streaming services, there should be the option to watch 'The Mummy: The Wrath of Ahmanet' in black-&-white.

It should quickly get to a point where 4 of these films are being theatrically released each year, with the films being released in Januarys, Aprils, Julys, and Octobers. Certain years should also have a 5th film that's a Peacock original. The films that are Peacock originals should be for the lesser-known monster characters, like the Man-Made Monster, the Creeper, the Metaluna Mutants, and the Mole People.

There should be a Peacock original live-action 'The Mummy' TV series that uses the characters & events created for the 1932 'The Mummy' film(music compositions from which should be used), the 1999 'The Mummy' film and it's 2 film sequels titled 'The Mummy Returns' and 'The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor'(music compositions from which should be used), the video games based on said 3 films(music compositions from which should be used), and the books(including comic books) made as tie-ins to said 3 films, the TV series 'The Mummy: The Animated Series'(music compositions from which should be used) and the video games based on it(music compositions from which should be used), the films 'The Mummy's Hand', 'The Mummy's Tomb', 'The Mummy's Ghost', and 'The Mummy's Curse'(the music scores of which should be used), which revolve around the mummy named Kharis, and the film 'Abbott & Costello Meet The Mummy'(the music score of which should be used), which revolves around the mummy named Klaris. This 'The Mummy' TV series should blend the horror and action/adventure genres, with it leaning a bit more towards the horror genre. The opening multi-parter of this 'The Mummy' TV series should be an amalgam of the 1932 film and the 1999 film, with it leaning more towards the 1999 film, and it should be titled 'The Rise of Imhotep'.

A Peacock original live-action 'The Scorpion King' TV series should be made that uses the characters & events created for the 'The Scorpion King' films(the music scores of which should be used), video games(the music scores of which should be used), and books.

There should be a 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' film that's an amalgam of the novel and the 1923 film, but with the 1996 Disney film's characterizations of Quasimodo(except, although being a fluent speaker, he shouldn't talk as much), Claude Frollo, Esmeralda, and Phoebus being used. This film should be titled 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame: The Tale of Quasimodo'.

There should be a 'The Phantom of The Opera' film that's an amalgam of the novel and the 1925 film. The architectural designs should be the same as those of the 1925 film and Erik's face should look just like it does in the 1925 film. This film should be titled 'The Phantom of The Opera: Music of The Night' and should end the same way that the musical stage play does, with Erik letting Christine go and Erik not meeting his demise.

There should be a 'Dracula' film that's based on the Dynamite-Entertainment-published comic book miniseries 'The Complete Dracula'[2009] and the 1931 'Dracula' film(the music score of which should be used). This film should be titled 'Dracula The Prince of Darkness'. Dracula should be played by someone who resembles Bela Lagosi and can sound just like him. There should be 2 sequels/spin-offs titled 'Dracula's Daughter' and 'Son of Dracula', which should be based on the original Universal films of the same names(the music scores of which should be used).

There should be a Peacock original live-action 'Dracula' TV series that's a prequel to 'Dracula The Prince of Darkness', and shows how Vlad The 3rd(AKA Vlad Dracula) went from being Vlad The Impaler to Count Dracula, and shows all of the major events in the life of Vlad The 3rd(AKA Vlad Dracula) that happened between him becoming Count Dracula and the events of 'Dracula The Prince of Darkness'.

There should be a 'Frankenstein' film that's based on the novel, but with elements from the films 'Frankenstein'[1931] and 'Bride of Frankenstein'(the music scores of which should be used), such as the hunchback assistant named Fritz(who should have the nickname "Igor"), the Monster's appearance, Dr Septimus Pretorious(who, over the course of 11 months, should teach the Monster how to talk, read, and write), and the appearance of the Monster's would-be mate(who should appear briefly in the same manner as she did in the original novel), being used. This film should be titled 'Frankenstein: The Modern Prometheus'. Near the end of his 11-month stay with Dr Pretorius, the Monster(who should be played by someone who resembles Boris Karloff) should name himself "Frankenstein". It should be depicted that during the previously mentioned 11-month timeframe, the Frankenstein Monster observed a nearby family. Immediately following the 11-month timeframe, the Frankenstein Monster's encounter with the family, which should be the same as it is in the novel, should occur. Fritz(AKA Igor) and Elizabeth(Victor's wife) should not die and the film should begin & end like the novel did, except Victor Heinrich "Henry" Frankenstein should survive, while the Frankenstein Monster, filled with grief over his actions, should disappear into the fog on an iceplate, intending to let the intense cold kill him. Before the Frankenstein Monster disappears into the fog, Victor should say to him "I forgive you,....my creation. And, I am sorry for disowning you.", to which the Frankenstein Monster should reply "Thank you,....Father.". In the first sequel to this film, Wolf Frankenstein(Victor Frankenstein's first son), now an adult with a wife and a young son, should go to the Arctic Circle in search of the Frankenstein Monster's corpse in the hope of resurrecting him back at the Frankenstein Castle. After Wolf finds the Frankenstein Monster's corpse, he thaws it, brings it back to the castle, and resurrects the Frankenstein Monster with electricity, and he then tells him that he is Victor's son and that he plans on resurrecting the Frankenstein Monster's would-be mate. Wolf's assistant should be the son of Igor The 1st(AKA Fritz), Igor The 2nd, who, unlike his father, is not a hunchback and has a deformed neck and a twisted back as results of being hanged for graverobbing.

There should be a 'Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde' film based on the novel. This film should have the same title as the novel, 'The Curious Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde'. The characters Slim & Tubby from the film 'Abbott & Costello Meet Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde' should be used.

There should be a remake of 'The Man Who Laughs'.

There should be a remake of 'Young Frankenstein'(the music score of which should be used).

There should be a Peacock original live-action 'The Invisible Man' TV series that uses the characters & events created for the novel, the 1933 film and it's follow-ups(the music scores of which should be used)(including the film 'Abbott & Costello Meet The Invisible Man'), and the 1975 TV series(the music score of which should be used). This TV series should be titled 'The Invisible People' and it's opening multi-parter should be titled 'The Invisible Man', and should be an amalgam of the novel and the 1933 film. The 2nd story of this TV series should be based on the film 'The Invisible Man Returns' and should be titled 'The 2nd Invisible Man', the 3rd story of this TV series should be based on & named after the film 'The Invisible Woman', the 4th story of this TV series should be based on the film 'The Invisible Agent' and should be titled 'The 3rd Invisible Man: The Invisible Agent', the 5th story of this TV series should be based on the film 'Revenge of The Invisible Man' and should be titled 'The 4th Invisible Man', and the 6th story of this TV series should be based on the film 'Abbott & Costello Meet The Invisible Man' and should be titled 'The 5th Invisible Man'.

There should be remakes of 'Werewolf of London' and 'She-Wolf of London'(the music scores of which should be used). There should be a 'The Wolfman' film that's an amalgam of the 1941 film and the 2010 film(the music scores of which should be used), with it taking place in 1891, like the 2010 film. The design of the Wolfman should be an amalgam of his design from the 1941 film and his design from the 2010 film.

There should be remakes of 'The Creature From The Black Lagoon', 'Revenge of The Creature', and 'The Creature Walks Among Us'(the music scores of which should be used). The Creature From The Black Lagoon(AKA the Creature and Gill-Man) should look just like he did in the original film.

There should be a Peacock original live-action miniseries that tells the origin of the secret organization Prodigium.

There should be a 2-part crossover film event that acts as a sequel to 'The Mummy: The Wrath of Ahmanet' and involves Dracula bringing all of the other monsters to the Frankenstein Castle(which should be depicted as having been abandoned after the deaths of Frederick Frankenstein, Inga, Igor The 3rd, and Elizabeth, and the disappearance of the monster that was created by Frederick Frankenstein) as part of a plan that would have dire effects on the entire world, and Prodigium teaming up with Nick Morton, Chris Vail, and Jennifer "Jenny" Halsey to stop Dracula. Part 1's end credits sequence should contain the songs 'Monster Mash'(performed by Bobby "Boris" Pickett & The Cryptkickers) and 'Mad Monster Party'(performed by Ethel Ennis).

There should be a Peacock original live-action crossover TV series that takes place after the 2-part crossover film event, and is based on & named after Universal's animated TV series 'Monster Force'. This universe's version of Monster Force should be part of Prodigium.
