I need your help, please: https://www.gofundme.com/f/1-help-spencer-on-his-conservation-journey I’m now 15years old, I was 10years old when I started this petition. I am still working hard to protect the Glossy Black-Cockatoos and their habitat in my local area and across Australia.
I can not thank-you enough for your support of my petition and on my conservation journey which has helped me to have my voice heard and to continue to protect the species I love.
I was heartbroken at the loss of the Glossies home and the habitat I loved, but it wasn’t really a loss for me because we have achieved so much together for future generations of humans and wildlife alike.
I have been able to meet and present to my hero Dr Jane Goodall in June 2024, meet with decision makers on all levels of government, founded the global movement World Stand UP 4 Nature Day on the 9th September 2023, created my Calendar for the past 5 years with my photography and observations and even being asked to be the conduit in the new global documentary film Love Letter to the Unseen, which follows my journey.
My love of Black-Cockatoos and my passion to protect them has led me to be invited to Western Australia at the end of June 2026 to represent the youth at the Great Black Cockatoo release!! I am beyond excited to keep growing the message to protect our beautiful Black Cockatoos and to release these amazing birds I love back into the Wild where they belong.
The organisers of the Great Black Cockatoo Release suggested I start a Go Fund Me to help me get there, which I have done. Now I need help to get the Go Fund Me out to everyone who might like to support me on this journey knowing how much I love nature.

I will be releasing a Forest Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo and a Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo over the weekend of the 27th and 28th of June 2026 if I can raise the funds to get there.
I’m super proud to have been the first person the Black Cockatoo release team thought of for this momentous occasion and to be representing the Youth. I hope to inspire more Kid’s to do what I do: Observe, Learn and Protect - your local environment.
