Prayer in public schools

Prayer in public schools
The Issue
We the people of the United States agree that prayer should come back to schools. Prayer was taken out of schools due to Madalyn Murray O’Hair, an atheist who did not want her child to pray. Our rights were violated, since it is contrary to the patriotic songs and the constitution which states we believe in God. Our founders of this nation based the government structure and the constitution on the principles of the Bible. We do have freedom of religion in this nation. This atheist woman rights overtook the rights of the Christians, Muslims, and Jews. We believe prayer will improve the environment of a chaotic and violent school system. Legislation don’t have a solution for the violence that’s impacting our nation. Prayer is the one true solution to a chaotic world. When we leave God out our lives, we allow enmity and devices to come in.
We are in tumultuous times. There is so much violence and perversion in our nation and world. We have to teach our children to communicate with God. There is no peace and prosperity without God. God is the true way to knowledge, because he is the author of our knowledge and faith. We must humble ourselves and seek him. God will give us the ideas to manage our schools’ finances and fix the many problems that are present in a school system that is failing our children.
Since prayer left our schools, some our children have become oblivious to respect, accountability, love, humility, peace, humanity and honor for others. The curriculum has not given our children a solid foundation to be productive in their futures. The schools have had mass shootings. If our nation says we believe in God, we cannot leave God out of one the most important institutions that prepare the future of our children.
As a former teacher, I have witnessed the horror stories of our children. The children of this nation are facing adult situations while they should have a healthy environment to learn and thrive. Our children need the spiritual, emotional, financial and educational guidance from adults. We have to be our children’s voice and advocates.
Legislation has not been successful at getting guns off the street. Our nation has become as violent as some other violent nations. Our children and parents are living in fear for their lives. How can students become their greatest potential if they’re living in fear of violence while attempting to learn?
