Here is a link to the article about Leah switching parties and the Republicans refusing her filing fees! What is interesting is what the Lincoln County Journal does not report! They do not report Leah Chaney was formerly Leah Askey the name she is known by. Nor do they reference the plethora of lawsuits filed against the county for her crimes, scams and shams! Like the Faria lawsuit or the illegal surveillance suits! Nor do they mention Louis Gumpenberger who is dead as a result of her corruption! Nor do they mention that Leah Askey owes state income taxes from 2011 and perjured herself on form 5120 when she filed to run. Stating she owed no state taxes! The voter has a right to know for whom they are voting! Good reporting demands that the Lincoln County journal not coverup or allow a fraud to be perpetrated on the Lincoln County voters! The people deserve the truth! At least they ran the article about the filing fees but it is far short of the type of reporting that would act as a check on the corrupt Lincoln County Government!
