Citizens to Stop Lincoln County Missouri Corruption

Jan 26, 2017
This is to file an update to the complaint we previously filed with you regarding Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyer. We are outraged that Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyer was left on the bench to terrorize the people for a month before her suspension. The day a decision was made she should have been removed!
Judge Mennemeyer’s abuses are intertwined with those of the County Prossecuter Leah Askey who should also have already been removed. Please take Judicial notice of the formal complaints filed against Leah Askey with Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel File #16-207. The complaints include a wide range of misconduct including criminal activity. Keep in mind that Judge Mennemeyer takes instructions from Leah Askey and is involved in many of the complaints in the file at OCDC against Leah Askey. We hope that you will communicate with OCDC for information to put an immediate stop to the activities occurring in Lincoln County.
Please understand she has been on a roll of outrageous and disturbing decisions since learning of her impending suspension. She made calendar changes and left behind orders on what needs to be done while she is out as if taking a vacation. She is still barking out orders based on drug testing and now ordering people to do jail time. The problem is she makes those decisions based on reports, not requests, from the probation office. She apparently believes no one is remotely smart enough to do their job, even the other judges who have been doing her cases for 4 years. The fact is, she is not qualified to do the job and never has been. Why did you leave her in a position to continue the abuse of the people?
The list of infractions and overreach violations only grows.
We would like to formally complain about the poor people she sent to jail where the probation office did not recommend a jail sentence for minor violations of probation. We would like the Judicial Commission to understand the Suspension has not curbed her behavior in the least; it has only served to embolden her since she was not removed. We again ask the Commission based on this complaint and all the prior complaints to permanently remove Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyer. Please send in a Judge from out of the county like the Honorable Judge Omert to review all of her decided cases. Many people did not get public defenders who were entitled to them and do not have the resources to file appeals.
The burden on the citizens of Lincoln County and even the State of Missouri is daunting . The lawsuits are piling up against the county due to the ongoing corruption problems. Soon the County will be bankrupt. This will make another fine story we will be watching on “Dateline” where they have already done previous episodes on this embarrassment to Missouri. Given the long history of abuses in the judiciary in Lincoln County and the ongoing corruption, we are asking the Commission to consider appointing an Independent Citizens Review Board to oversee the Lincoln County Judicial system including the Juvenile office that is also out of control. Our members would like to be considered for such a position. Anyone who is aggrieved could appeal to the Citizens review board and the board could make findings to set aside outlandish decisions and convictions like those rendered by Judge Mennemeyer in the Russ Faria Matter and The Tom Wilkerson case. This would serve to protect the people from the ongoing gross abuses in Lincoln County. Thank you in advance for your urgent consideration to this problem. Please be aware that if we are unable to get relief from these tyrants from your Board and the Missouri Bar, we have been informed that Charles and David Koch would like to work with us and Governor Greitens to defund the Courts. This will be our next step. We with all due respect, it Is time that this situation be resolved and the people be left to live their lives in peace and quiet enjoyment not unbridled terror at the hands of the judiciary. The message from our Members to the Missouri Bar and the Missouri Judiciary, “Clean up your act or clean out your desk. We are not putting up with it anymore!
Sincerely,
Citizens to Stop Lincoln County Corruption
