Anyone who wants to file an Amicus Brief in Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyers disciplinary proceeding in front of the Missouri Supreme Court can do so. We plan on filing one as a group but you are free to file one individually or as another group as necessary or desired. Be sure to comply with the rules. We believe the recommended sentence by the Judicial Commission of a six month suspension without pay for Chris Mennemeyer for preying on the poorest people in our community is not enough. We believe she must be permanently removed from her position and from the practice of law. In the Faria matter she acted as arm of the prosecution instead of a neutral judge which resulted in the death of one or maybe two people. If anyone of us caused the death of another human being at our job we would loose that job. Why should the standard be lower for a Judge. We believe the Missouri Supreme Court should take into account Chris Mennemeyer's statement to accused persons that she could do anything she wanted to them because they were too poor to appeal. Mennemeyer's mindset flies in the face of our constitution, due process and our democratic system and demonstrates she is a predator. The brief is due on November 7, 2016.
