If you read the findings of the Judicial Commission it is clear that not only were the Judge and the Prosecutor Askey working as a team to exploit and convict innocent people but to deny them due process rights By Denying them the right to change Judges. Mennemeyer would deny appointment of counsel for 60 days and then it was too late to ask for a change of judge.This caused the indigent people to have to stay in jail longer and pay the $50 a day fee for an extra 60 days upfront and even more on the back end. The were running a scam to extort fees from the poorest people among us and to deny them their constitutional rights. A Judge in our system is supposed to act as a neutral third party to keep all parties acting fairly Instead, Judge Mennemeyer was acting as an arm or an agent of the prosecution. The question is why they wanted to get more fees from people and run jail time? There was a very questionable audit done that alleged possible corruption was that it. Was Leah Askey and Judge Mennemeyer getting some extra compensation or bonus or kick back for keeping people in jail extra time or were they just sadists? I think everything about the corruption relates back to money from the $150k in the bag from Pam Hupp to this scam they were running. Askey and Mennemeyer are clearly garbage but there has to be more to the story. What do you think? We would also like more information on Mennemeyers husband who is running for Commisioner. He obviously wanted in on the money so he is trying to get in on the team work. If you look at the Petition comments Mennemeyers own family says Askey Mennemeyer are using court monies for personal expenses. It is ridiculous that Mennemeyer should ever be allowed to be a judge again much less an attorney. The Supreme Court of Missouri will be able to accept or reject the recommendations of the Judicial Commission. Normally they accept them. Citizens to Stop Lincoln County Corruption will be sending a formal certified letter to the Missouri Supreme court outlining other abuses by Judge Mennemeyer and asking for permanent removal. We are asking for input from each and every one of you to add to the letter or you can send in your own letter. We are considering a recall Petition for Chris Mennemeyer and Leah Askey. They are both cruel incompetent and corrupt and must never be allowed to practice law again! Two People are dead as a result of their corruption that we know of. If anyone of us caused the death of someone as a result of poor performance at our job. We would loose the job. Why are these two cretins still working?
