A Victim of Lincoln County Judicial Systems money making scam was revealed to us last night. A young lady was leaving a house of a friend. The door had already closed. The sheriff pulled up and demanded she open the door of the house. She had no key and no way to open the door. The police wanted to question the person who lived there. She was charged with felony interfering with an arrest. She was forced to hire an attorney although she had done nothing wrong. A Lincoln County In Crowd Attorney was recommended by the Sheriff who had a scheme to make the whole thing disappear. First she had to plead guilty even though she told the attorney she did nothing wrong and could prove she did not live at the house and had no key. He told her do what they say or you will pay with your future. He told her plead guilty and then you can get an expungement of the record from the Judges son. So she paid attorney 1 ( who was a former law partner of one of the Judges) $3000. She received an SIS and had to do 2 years probation. Then she paid the judges son another $2000 to get an expungement after two years. She also paid a fine and a fee for probation services to Lincoln County authorities. If she did not plead guilty they were threatening her with jail time. So how does one family control so many parts of the legal system in Lincoln County? How is that legal? Why is the Missouri Bar allowing this to continue? Lincoln County Courts and Sheriff need a Citizens Review Board so that those in control will be forced to stop using the court system as their won personal piggy bank!
