Please Help Save the Wild Horses in Arizona!

The Issue

Wild horses have been a symbol of the west for longer than any of us even existed. When I think of Arizona, three things come to mind; cacti, mountain ranges, and WILD HORSES. They represent a huge part of Arizona history. Tourists come from far and wide in the hopes to see them, music groups such as "America" and "Rascal Flatts" sang about them, even sports teams and school mascots have been named after them. Now, the United States Forest Service wants to impound them and sell them at auctions where they could end up either trained or killed. They have yet to provide the public with a real reason as to WHY they are planning to remove these horses. If this action does take place, these bands of wild horses that have roamed free together for so long will no longer exist. Their families will be separated with their fates uncertain. I encourage as many people as possible to sign this petition and show their support for these majestic creatures that have no protection and have done nothing wrong. They deserve to continue to roam free! You can read more about this on the link provided here: http://publicnotices.azcapitoltimes.com/search/detail.aspx?detail=10583672

The USFS plan to begin impounding the horses as early as this Friday, August 7, 2015 and will continue over the course of one year until all wild horses are captured. They are taking into account how many people are opposed to this heinous act so please act now before it's too late!
