We, the people are calling for a total ban on the sale of horsemeat, lionmeat or any other exotic meat in the US. "Horseslaughter" and "the killing of any exotic animal" are inhumane and cruel practices that need to be outlawed. Congress already has voted to end the practice in 2007 so that there is no need for the department of agriculture to sign and approve permits for any businesses that sell horse or exotic meat .   We are also calling your swift action to permanently end this practice due to the fact that there has never been a humane way of killing horses or exotic animals for their meat. Also their slaughter in the past have been barbaric and exceedingly brutal. We believe that animals do not deserve this kind of torture just because of profit or money. Killing them by stunning, electric shock, and stabbing are also linked to horrific abuses and animal cruelty which we disapprove . On the other hand, we also oppose selling of meat of endangered species because it leads to their population being more depleted. It encourages cruelty and  reduction of the number of various exotic species being delivered. There are stores selling exotic meat currently we want to expose in this petition.
