Six-pack rings are more dangerous than you think. They can very easily entangle wildlife, have intensely degraded the well-being of many sea creatures, and when properly disposed of, are very difficult to recycle.

This petition is being made to bring awareness to the issue and to persuade companies who manufacture or use these plastic six-pack rings for soda cans to explore different means of packaging.

One such alternative is the "E6PR". It is an all-natural alternative to the classic plastic soda rings made with all-natural ingredients, including straw and wheat fiber, and was developed just 4 years ago.

While there are many alternatives and solutions to this particular problem, this petition will focus on gaining support and putting pressure on bottling companies to find an alternative to the way they handle soda packaging now.
