Shut Down Kimberly Dildine’s Puppy Mill Proud Puppy Love 4D Kennel
The Issue
Proud Puppy Love 4D Kennels is run by a couple named Kimberly and William Dildine. I am writing this today to bring awareness to a puppy mill in which I unknowingly purchased my puppy from in Willow Springs, Missouri.
Apollo is a 25lb Italian greyhound fully grown and fit (not overweight) but I’m not complaining. Just letting any potential puppy buyers that you most likely won’t be able to travel with most of her puppies because they’re rather large and size is not regulated.
She has refused to let me see her kennels whether it be in person or videos and pictures. She said it is a closed facility because she does not want any diseases being tracked in. However, all of the puppies from her who I have found via social media are immunocompromised or had bad cases of giardia that wouldn’t clear up, GI issues leading to death and more. She’s been having up to three litters a month and is now using her own dogs to breed. The strange thing is she’s actually OFA testing some of her dogs which I just found out in January 2022 by doing more research and they’re pretty healthy surprisingly. However she has never provided me any of this information prior to purchase nor after I asked for health test information. Why hide something this important? It must be the conditions they are living in that are causing the immuno issues in all of these pups.
I’ve been in contact with someone who has two of her dogs from an Italian greyhound rescue. Her male came with a protruding bone from a rescue after being saved from Kim. All of her dogs that end up in rescue are terrified of men so I can only assume that someone is using force with these gentle creatures. Kimberly Dildine goes to dog auctions and sells off her leftover puppies as well as her sires and dams to new breeders encouraging more breeding after she retires the dams at 6 years old. Heartland Auctions in MO is supporting this.
I know the conditions of the kennels must be more than poor, hence why I’m not allowed to even see a photo or two. I’ve only asked for her to hold up a simple sign with her name in her kennels and see where the parents are housed. My dog is currently on immunotherapy via the vet and his pet insurance. She said no one has ever contacted her regarding a sick puppy which is untrue.
I’ve been in touch with the Humane Society, BBB and Missouri Attorney General. The BBB saved her information in the database of consumer complaints. The reason why nothing can be done is because she keeps passing inspection and is licensed per all “requirements”. Who’s fault is that? The USDA and government!
I am hoping that this will at least bring awareness to people searching for Italian greyhound puppies and who NOT to purchase from. She sells to puppy stores and the dogs are delivered via a puppy broker called Choice Puppies. I met them outside of a Petland store and I knew right then and there that I most likely got him from a mill and wasn’t educated enough. Regardless, he is my boy and I will give him the best life possible.
Litter dates I’ve found from googling (these are just her Iggies which are listed on her two websites as well as next day pets and puppyfind) Seems VERY excessive.
