President of the United States Joe Biden. As you well know the Cuban people raised peacefully against the oppressive government that’s been ruling the Nation for sixty two years now, with just three presidents during all these time and no free elections. That Government was able to stay afloat and able to show-up for some thirty years thanks to Socialist Russia, who subsidized the Cuban economy for that time. But 1990 and the end of the Socialist Russia put the Cuban Government in front of a clear reality: Cuba would be incapable of moving forward because of lack subsidies and a blind economical philosophy. Cuba started drowning thirty one years ago and now the Government is determined to kill their own people by asfixia. The Cuban People have risen and the Government is acting with plain brutality. There are reported death already as a result of this brutality; one of the victims was a thirteen years old boy who was shot in the head. We were able to witness the unprecedented uprising last Sunday thanks to social media channels, but as you well know cutting comunicación is the first thing you would do if you want to win a war. That is what the Cuban Government have done: suspended internet service and just keeping the Nation “informed” through State Television media. 

We, Cubans in exile and in the diaspora, beg for your cabinet to act and step forward on behalf of the Cubans who are fighting to save their Nation. We need to re-establish communications with those fighting for their right to Freedom in Cuba. We ask the United States to do whatever would be necessary to provide free internet service for the Cubans. A satellite system, or any other system available! Please help us! I’m literally in tears as I’m writing this message!
