BBC interview to human rights watch director for Cameroon  Ilaria Allegrozzi  on the massacre at Ngarbuh "Dangerous area,  difficult to get information.  Information gathered have credible evidence to show that was not an incident but a deliberate massacre of civilians. People interviewed on the ground plus satellite images are consistent with the witnesses testimonies. The government narrative  that this was a fire accident is false. The investigation shows that the massacre was carried out by military specifically members of the BIR (rapid  intervention battalion) 10-15 in number including armed members of the Fulani group. Interview gathered with over 25 people including people who actually saw what happened  as well. Witnesses and people living in the  surrounding  saw what happened it is clear that this was a reprisal attack carried to punish the local population accused of supporting or sheltering the separates fighters. Witnesses said that there was no provocation whatsoever between the military and the government as the government said- the killings were deliberate. Ethnic Fulanis groups are taking advantage of the escalation in the violence  (human right watch ilaria Allegrozzi).

The man in the picture is one of the people who granted an interview to the human right watch. He was pulled out of the mosque during prayers and today2/29/2020. His body was found dumped in another village called kikaikelaki, about 120 kilometers away from Ngarbuh
