Continuing our Efforts for Imperative Humanitarian Action for Burundi

Dear friends: You have done a marvelous job in signing this petition and I pray that God blesses you abundantly for your contribution to peace. Please keep up your momentum and forward the link to your friends. It is critical that we tweet to the Secretary – General of UN @UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and @UN_Spokesperson, ask UN to instruct Burundian authorities to stop the killings of innocent people. That is the only way of preventing genocide from happening in Burundi. We can also tweet at other influencers who may cooperate with UN leaders in making a quick decision. It is time that each of you posts a message on your Facebook or Tweet your friends and request their support. We need our voices to be heard for an immediate action to prevent any atrocities happening in Burundi. Our campaign is becoming stronger and stronger; at this minute we have reached 26,000 supporters – thank you. I am grateful that we have reached this number but let us strive for more supporters; it is promising. Additionally, we need the full attention of the UN Team to negotiate but also ACT quickly. Until we hear the organization’s humanitarian action in response to our call to justice to the precious lives of Burundians in fear and danger; to the women who are being raped and to the displaced children, we should not stop requesting an URGENT INTERVENTION.
