Thank you! Thank you! These words don’t suffice to convey my sincerest gratitude for the amazing work you are doing to make our voices heard. Your messages of support, your posts on Facebook, and your convincing words in support of the petition have been very encouraging and humbling to so many of us who felt helpless in our quest to help the people of Burundi. Your selfless leadership and humanitarian heart can only be rewarded by God above. As blessed as we have been for the outpouring of support for so many across the continent, we must remain steadfast in sharing this petition with our family and friends to amplify its significance. The more signatures it acquires, the more POWERFUL our message, and the bigger the impact it will have in spurring a call to ACTION for the United Nations (UN). I thank God for calling each one of you to action and for your heartfelt connection to this cause. Your support gives hope to Burundians and encourages them to remain faithfully in the midst of their despair. I strongly hope that United Nations and the UN Security Council will act courageously, working together to resolve this issue without delay and that a genocide in Burundi can be prevented. Thank you for remaining persistent in ensuring that we heed the call of the Burundian people, refusing to remain SILENT when our fellow humans suffer the worst fate.
