These “chan” websites have become breeding grounds for radicalizing young people around the world into whatever cesspool of beliefs they find themselves into. Deep and dark threads allow for users to anonymously post false propaganda to push their radical agendas. Besides spreading hate, and sucidal messages, these websites breed false ideas such as White Genocide and how people should take up arms and target different races to promote extremist race supremacy. One such example is one of the shooters on March 16, 2019 in New Zealand who gunned down multiple innocent people that were at a mosque. This monster live-streamed this occurrence on Facebook. His ideas stem from places like 4chan or 8chan. The total anonymity and the allowance of racial threats and manifestos for violence is what makes these websites dangerous for us and the developing minds of children around the world. Let’s make our world safer by getting rid of websites that allow for creeps and the mentally ill to freely push their toxic agendas.
