As Azerbaijan takes over the formerly Armenian populated regions in Nagorno Karabakh, it is imperative to declare the Armenian cultural sites - churches, monuments, sculptures and other cultural treasures as world heritage symbols and protect them with the full sponsorship and enforcement by international organizations, e.g. UNESCO, the EU. These treasures date back to ancient times, with many archeological sites from BC. Imagine the loss to the humanity if any are destroyed! Unprecedented ancient jewels, such as Dadivank from 9th century, that will undoubtedly bear the brunt of Azeri hatred aimed at erasing anything Armenian, once the relocation begins. The international adoption and protection of these cultural sites must happen immediately!
