It has been more than a week since Ukraine-Russia armed combat began. Lakhs of civilians and international students studying at Universities have been forced to abandon their homes. The majority of people are fleeing to one of the adjacent borders surrounding Ukraine with immediate effect.  Innocent civilians have been killed as a result of war, particularly women, children, and the elderly. For both countries, war has a number of negative consequences, including the loss of human lives, economic losses due to infrastructure destruction, and trade disruption. It also causes forced migration of people and resource depletion which leads to long-term socio-economic consequences that must be considered.

Peace and harmony bring political strength, economic stability and cultural development of a nation. Both are extremely important for the existence of mankind. It promotes the prosperity and overall development of a nation. Every citizen, regardless of religion, caste, gender or ethnicity has right to true equality.  We all must pray for the safety of all the civilians in that region so that the war ends at the earliest and both nations can live in peace.
