Petition the UN to classify police brutality as a Human Rights violation.

The Issue

Due to the historical and current issues of police brutality and racism happening across the United States, black Americans and their allies are reaching out to seek help from outside nations to achieve justice and policy change. The objective of this petition is to solicit the help of the United Nations to show our need for police brutality to be labeled as a human rights issue. This petition is meant to be signed by people who are in direct support of the NAACP's recent Instagram post which states the following. "The NAACP is calling on the United Nations to step up and classify the mistreatment of black people in the U.S. by the police as a human rights violation, aggressively call out the U.S. government in the process, and impose sanctions of necessary."
