Out of various big and small issues across the nations worldwide, child molestation has become one of the root causes of societal degradation. The world may have been facing many challenges but to get rid of them, we can't just focus at one challenge at a time.

It is the responsibility of everyone to kill the elephant in the room. 

This issue is equally alarming as any other challenges that the world is prone to. 

Children, unaware of the outside world, when goes to an educational institution for the first time, they get to experience a vast exposure. Not only at the schools or institutions but they also come in contact with various people in and around her or his surroundings as they grow up. 

Science, Maths, History, Geography are all good and important for a student to learn. It is equally important to impart sexuality education to those children right from the very beginning of their education as a part of rigorous curriculum. 

Statistics suggest that every 155 minutes, a child under 16 years of age is being raped

Teaching them about the 'Good touch, Bad touch' theory, making themselves well aware of the private parts of their body and which could help them differentiate, make themselves aware of the surroundings, giving them confidence and make themselves valiant enough to speak up and say 'no' to some mishaps around them. Small kids are more prone to sexual abuse or assault as the assailant approach them with more affectionate means of touch, while the children barely could differentiate between the right amount of affectionate approach or touch and the inappropriate way of approach or touch. We can't wait for the children to grow up to get the proper amount of sexuality education. It is the call of the situation that before any other teachings, sexuality education and awareness against abuse and assault is more important. 

A more formal approach of body safety skills should be included in the curriculum of the pre-school and pre-primary education. Using of representative videos, dolls and books to teach. Indulging teachers to show good amount of respect to the privacy of the kids, as the kids follow such manner of approach and could easily distinguish between good behaviour and bad behaviour.

As the educational institutions and teachers play an important role in building the intellectual blocks in children's mind. Parents also play a vital role to make sure of their child's safety. 

The trauma of sexual exploitation in children sometimes impacts the children through life; they become guilty, fearful, lonely and worried.

Let's not make our children more susceptible to the damage that few monsters of the society is creating. It's high time that we sensitize them from the very young age through a better curriculum based on sexual education.

I am writing this petition to request to the concerned department who has the responsibility of education for the pre primary kids to kindly address the issue and implement the required measures to make awareness the priority for the children.
