• Refuses to allow an international demanded referendum on self-determination for the Sahrawi people which Morocco itself has agreed to but has consistently prevented from taking place.

 

Concretely, the Moroccans claim the Polisario Front is a terrorist organisation. This completely contradicts the fact that the United Nations recognises the Polisario Front as the LEGAL and ONLY representative of the Sahrawi people.
Morocco refuses to accept the existence of a Sahrawi people as a distinct people despite the United Nations and the International Court of Justice declaring them to be so.

 

Morocco aids and abets Israel in the persecution of the Palestinian people and receives support from Israel in the savage persecution of the Sahrawi people.

 

The daily lives of Sahrawis in the Occupied Territories consist of:

• Morocco's refusal to recognise their rights as Sahrawi citizens. 

• Forced disappearances and torture.

• Attacks on Sahrawi culture and identity.

• Moroccan police and state brutality.
