Charles Boles started this petition to United Nations

Human beings are currently being captured and sold into bondage in Libya. These acts are in direct violation of "P029 - Protocol of 2014 to the Forced Labour Convention, 1930." We find this to be abhorrently unacceptable and implore the United Nations to take IMMEDIATE ACTION against the Presidential Council of Libya to insure these practices are stopped with extreme haste. Videos have surfaced of the individuals there being auctioned for as little as $400(US). These people, sometimes children, are then subject to incomprehensible brutalities and inhumane conditions. Allegedly, many of those sold into slavery are attempting to travel to Europe by sea. Sadly, thousands will be enslaved and thousands more will die before reaching it's shores. We believe a thorough investigation is necessary to identify any and all parties involved in the facilitation of these horrific activities. All assistance in this humanitarian effort is greatly appreciated.
