Police have been brutalizing, extorting and killing Nigerian youths. These extortion are often done at gun points. Sometimes it is difficult to differentiate between police and armed robbers. These crimes are  often symbolised by an arm of State police called Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). It got tjo its cresedo recently when Chijoke was brutally murdered by SARS, money extorted from the father, and the father was made to search for his son's corpse amidst other dead bodies. This is cruel and inhuman.

The Nigerian State also connates another repression by totally eliminating the youth in the scheme of things and are not regarded as having a soul, to the extent that the  president of the country called the teeming youths  "Lazy'. These are people that the Leaders have looted their futures, borrowed away their future (It might take generations to repay) . The situation became so bad that if nothing is done, it would have led to total disintegration and a collapse of the country. Now the youths wants to be heard, the youths wants to be seen as not lazy, the youths want to take back their future and their country, they have been on the street for 11 days, in the most responsible, organised manner, probably the first of its kind in the world,  infact they have remained unprovoked despite state sponsored attacks and provocations, asking for :

1. An end to SARS, an end to Ploice brutality

2. Total Reform of Nigerian Police Force 

3. All Criminals in the force to be OPENLY BROUGHT TO BOOK

4. Increase in police salary and better conditions of service for them

5. A trial of all corrupt leaders

6. Restructuring of the Nigerian State and the federal system so everyone has equal opportunity 

8. Youth involvement and engagement in the leadership of the country 

9. Job creation for Nigerians 

10. Total end to banditry

11. Reform of the security architecture that will holistically restore lives and hope in the Northern part of the country. 

These youths generate money amongst themselves to sustain the protest, feed protesters and the security personnel sent to attack them. They clean up the venues of their protests after, and have been accounting for how they expend the money generated. This generation of youths require our supports by signing this petition. 

The current leadership does not listen to the voices of the youths, please help keep the youths off the Nigerian streets, help end banditry in the North, help to end SARS in Nigeria by signing these petition so it can be presented to the right authority for action.
