Bones are broken, blood is shed but you survive against all the odds as you painfully crawl away from your parents' house to escape.1000000's of girls and young women are not as fortunate as they die in honour killings all over the world, especially where you would think it ever happens. Can you imagine killing them for the sake of honour? An honour killing is carried out in the most brutal way. It is carried out to retain respect from others in the community. To behead, shoot, beat a woman or girl to death is considered respectful and humane. I survived an honour killing, many do not do think that something needs to change?
