In early January, Asifa Bano, an 8-year-old girl in a purple dress, was grazing her horses in a meadow in Kashmir when a man beckoned her into a forest. She followed.According to police, he grabbed her by the neck and forced her to take sleeping pills. With the help of a friend, they say, he dragged her to a nearby temple and locked her inside.
For the next three days, police say, the two men and at least one other raped her, again and again. Suspects told investigators that their motive had been to drive Asifa's nomadic community out of the area. In the end, she was strangled, after one of the men allegedly insisted on raping her one last time.

Asifa Bano: This 8-year-old’s rape and murder is a horror story beyond sexual violence in India
It was not just another isolated, horrific episode of sexual violence in India, but a planned attack to drive Asifa's nomadic community out of the area

NEW DELHI:  In early January, Asifa Bano, an 8-year-old girl in a purple dress, was grazing her horses in a meadow in Kashmir when a man beckoned her into a forest. She followed.

According to police, he grabbed her by the neck and forced her to take sleeping pills.

Days later, Asifa's crumpled body was found in the forest, in the same purple dress, now smeared with blood.

She was raped constantly for 8 days in a Hindu Temple and 4 Men were allegedly raping her which includes the caretaker of the temple and a police officer and 2 more.

Later this year, a 8 month old girl was raped by her 28 years old cousin in and she couldn't survive.

All of are are well aware of the nirbhya case and we know the plight of women in our country very well.

This can happen with you and even with our sisters and mothers. Are we safe in our own mother land? No? Right? So, aren't we supposed to do something not just for Asifa but also for every girl in our society?

Isn't it important for us to do something, going to the root cause of the problem and Provide justice to Asifa and Nirbhya. Yes let me tell you! When a girl is raped, just by punishing the rapist, they don't get justice, rather we need to rethink about the punishment and also take measures on long term basis to stop such sinister from ruining the lives of these poor girls and to make India a better place to live.

Not just for women but for the humanity as a whole. We better not talk about religion, That could be the worst, because when a person kills a cow or eats non-veg near or in premises of a temple, which is considered as a scared place, it evokes a kind of rage in Hindus, which eventually is considered as a sin and gives rise to long debates and protest. This happens in all the religion is someone dis folllow a belief. But Raping a girl in premises of the temple and that too by the temple caretaker and for 8 days. Is it humanly or we humans are turning into animals day after day?

Do we have to tame these Humans, train them not to do these sins? Are Humans worse than animals?

When a girl is raped, she is not just physically assaulted, rather she is mentally destroyed, she lived the worst nightmare and it ruins her whole personality and the capability to adapt the world. So,raping a girl is more than just a crime, it takes more toe punish such animals.

But we should also get to the root cause of this problem, Its not about how a girl dresses! Its about the mentality the filth filled in these perverts and the notion that girls are considered inferior in our society, it something which kills!

What we need now?

We just don't need justice for Asifa! Or Nirbhya. We want a change in the system, a change in the mentalities of people! We have the youth, we need to teach them the importance of a women, a girl and uplift their thinking to a healthy level, THINKING A filth about a girl, is not what we want.

They say "CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME" but this should be interpreted like, If you really want to see a girl with these filthy thoughts, first try your vision on your sister and mother, maybe this does you good!

We not only should respect the dignity of every person, but have some decency to take care of people around us, after all we all are humans! So taking a stand for someone won't change anything but it can help that person a lot!

We want a healthy mentality, we need to reduce and then eventually end these perverts from our society, These filth filled minds and unproductive thoughts!

What we need from the organisation?

We just need the govt. to improve the punishment for a rapist. We just don't need death sentence but a torture cell separately made for these animals!

We don't know when rape tendencies generates in a person so, we want to work together! and do great stuff to uplift the mentalities of people, the citizens of India and to reflect a good side of India in the world. If we don't let our minds grow, then how will India Develop? If we don't provide justice then how will people retain faith on the govt. ? If we cannot change ourselves and our mentalities then we can do nothing! We need to change and change is the new justice.

Lets change for good and help people around us as well and provide justice to rape victims.
