The Budgett's Frog (Lepidobatrachus laevis) is a species of frog Native to South America, specifically Brazil and Argentina.

The Budgett's Frog has recently been gaining popularity as an Internet Meme. Often this picture of the frog will be shown on wednesdays, hence the proposed name change "Wednesday Frog", not only for the memes, but to make the name a bit friendlier as well.
