Trawling is a brutal way of fishing–tying a huge net on a boat and dragging it across the beautiful ocean floor and destroying everything in its path-that need to stop. I mean, can you believe trawlers KILL 90% of their catch? Or the fact that seabed trawling is destroying all of the marine habitats and the food chain stopping and resulting in the ocean to run out of fish? Because of this, trawling needs to be banned!

Imagine you had this dream: You are playing happily with your friends, and then all the sudden a huge net smashed through your house and your surroundings. That is exactly what a fish would experience when someone trawls and it’s a dreadful experience. Obviously, we are the ones causing the habitat loss and I even have proof. I am not the only one that agrees about this statement; here's a quote: “Trawling is like taking a front-end loader and scraping up your entire front garden and shredding it, keeping a few pebbles and dumping the rest down the drain.” Marget Atwood.

Trawlers have a never ending appetite  of catching marine life, and consequently, the fish does not have enough time to breed. Go on the internet and search “overfishing”, go in videos and I bet ⅚ of them will say the ocean is running out of fish and ½ of them will be about trawling and ¼ of them will be about the food chain dying. That is just another piece of evidence for the ones that are still arguing about this. Imagine an empty sea, with no fish, no life, just empty! Empty! Empty…
