Weltweit fragen sich Nichtchristen, warum wir heutzutage noch das Jahr 2021 „nach Christi Geburt“ zählen.

Etwas so Essenzielles wie eine Zeitrechnung sollte doch so neutral und unabhängig wie möglich sein.

Als ziemlich einfache Alternative könnte z. B. auf den Holozän-Kalender umgestellt werden.

Für die Umstellung müsste den letzten 2020 Jahren nur eine 1 vorangestellt werden.

Statt dem Jahr 2021 n. Chr., hätten wir nun das Jahr 12021.

Something as essential as a calendar should be as neutral and independent as possible.

A fairly simple alternative could be to switch to the Holocene calendar.

For the changeover, the last 2020 years would only have to be prefixed with a 1.

Instead of the year 2021 AD, we would now have the year 12021.
