United Dairy Clean Up Your Act

United Dairy Clean Up Your Act
The Issue
Living in the West Side has always been a joy, but our neighborhood is suffering due to the negligence of United Dairy. As local residents, we are angered and upset by the ugly and unsafe environment fostering in our community because of them.
United Dairy's operations have caused a significant decline in neighborhood safety and aesthetics. Their business, with semi-trucks constantly parked on gravel lots without proper drainage, poses a severe risk to road users. When it rains, debris spreads onto the roads and increases the likelihood of accidents.
Pedestrian safety is equally compromised. The sidewalks surrounding United Dairy's parking areas have been destroyed, making them impassable and dangerous for residents who rely on them for daily mobility. Their trucks constantly park on the sidewalks making them impossible to use, so walkers must go in the street simply to get to the grocery store. The presence of gravel and mud, combined with the resulting unsafe road conditions, makes navigating our streets a hazard.
Moreover, the unpleasant odor from spilled milk travels blocks past their property. And the noise of constant truck activity echos throughout the West Side.
These conditions are unacceptable and can't continue without action. Concrete solutions should be implemented such as cleaning up the lots, repaving damaged sidewalks, and installing proper drainage systems to ensure safety for both pedestrians and drivers.
We implore United Dairy to take immediate responsibility and invest in repairing the damage inflicted on our community. Our neighborhood deserves a safe, clean, and peaceful environment.
Joining this petition is an essential first step in achieving these vital changes. With enough support, we can make our voices heard and improve the living standards in our community. Let's come together to demand accountability and ensure that West Side remains a delightful place to call home.
Please sign and share this petition to help us restore the safety and beauty of our neighborhood.
