In the just under 2 weeks since the launch of this “United Against Poaching” petition, the petition has accumulated over 6000 signatures. 

This is an unbelievable response and all the partners involved in trying to bring Joseph "Big Joe" Nyalungu to book, are all extremely grateful for the amazing support.

Since 2011, “Big Joe” has avoided any serious prosecution for his alleged involvement in rhino poaching syndicates, even going on the run the last time he was granted bail.

On July 6 and 7, the global wildlife community will have one more chance to show their solidarity against the scourge of rhino poaching linked to the worldwide Illicit wildlife trade.

Joseph Nyalungu will again be in court to apply for bail on these dates and we hope that this petition will demonstrate the public’s support for stricter measures against rhino poaching in general.

Please help share this petition far and wide, so we can reach the planned 10,000 signatures and that the petition can be presented to the court as evidence of the community’s opposition to granting bail to this kingpin.
