I write this petition on behalf of Students Christian Organization (SCO) which aims to advocate for students issues and ensure they are motivated and accommodated in the institution.

Since Unisa has started with online examination there is no improvement but many students are left behind and things are getting worse. I have screenshots of emails from lectures confirming that students did not submit because of the University technical error however students are still advised to wait for 2022. This is clear that Unisa does not have a plan to ensure that all students are accommodated but hiding behind Covid-19. Again more than 5000 students opted for laptops instead of money however they are still waiting up to this day while Unisa is so obsessed that all students must have a device while some they are from poor backgrounds. We are not against online examination but we want all students to be accommodated, we want Unisa to go back to venue-base examination because online examination exclude the majority  and favor only the fortunate. We want NSFAS to not exclude UNISA students and DHET to intervene.
