En 2026, se cumplirán 20 años desde que Soraya Raquel Lamilla Cuevas, más conocida como "Soraya", nos dejó su legado de música, videos y un libro increíble que nos cuestiona sobre el amor, la fuerza y ​​la compasión. Nosotros, los fans "sorayistas", queremos que las compañías discográficas y de medios que tienen su legado artístico e intelectual tomen medidas para mantener viva su memoria.

Nuestras peticiones son:

1.  Actualizar su sitio web official y su tienda, (Desde el 2007 no se actualiza)
2. Subir los catalogos de su musica completos en inglés y español en plataformas de streaming como Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.
3. Publicar sus canciones inéditas a todos los fans que aún la recuerdan y aún reproducen sus canciones y videos.
4. Producir una pelicula/documental sobre la vida de Soraya, muchos artistas latinos locales que ya no estan con nosotros han contado con el apoyo de plataformas de streaming para poner sus vidas en series y peliculas. La historia de Soraya es magnifica y llena de esperanza. Ha llegado la hora, es impresindible que se realice, se lo debemos a Soraya.
5. También es de gran urgencia que su sitio web sea revisado y remodelado para hoy, no solo con el propósito de tener su vela encendida, sino también para educar y difundir información sobre su lucha contra el cáncer de mama.

Es fundamental que estas empresas se unan para rendir el debido homenaje, recordando su legado, y que se unan artistas que trabajaron con ella como Ricky Martin, Sting, Juanes, Bacilos, Alex Syntec y algunos que la conocieron como Shakira, FannyLu y Carlos Vives. y apoya a los fans con esta petición.

En la música de hoy se echa mucho de menos a Soraya, pero sabemos que "cuando el único sonido que rompe el silencio es el latido de tu corazón. Entre los latidos encontrarás la razón".
