The act of charging parents and families for services not provided over bank holiday periods is morally wrong. Anyone should only pay for goods and services actually provided. Self employed parents and contract workers do not earn over the holiday periods but are forced to pay for services over same period when they are not earning. Nursery workers should be paid by their employers  during bank holidays as part of the business running costs and not from charging parents. If parents do have a out of hours job they could go do on a bank holiday, they would not be able to anyway on account of childcare duties which the nurseries are not providing. This is a double whammy and is reprehensible. Please get behind this petition and stop this shameful act.
