The vast majority of us have stood at our door this evening clapping for our NHS workers. The people who put their life on the line day in and day out, even before this pandemic. 

NHS workers are severely underpaid and on-top of that have crippling student debts to put them through medical school. These are just two reasons there is a shortage of trainee nurses and doctors coming out of university and the ones that do are there because they care about us and want the world to be a better place by helping people feel better. 

The country is currently on it’s knees with the only crutch we have being our amazing NHS workers. The UK is now looking for 250k volunteers because of the strain on the NHS with this deadly virus and our nurses are working around the clock putting their lives at risk to get this country back on it’s feet, some of which will lose their lives to give us ours.  

Lets get as many people signing this petition to try and give something back to these people that will one day be caring for us or someone close to us. If we can get their debt wiped, then at least their salary which is already to low will go a bit further.
