Hi guys the 5000 mark has now been hit! In truth it has been difficult to get signatures flowing over the past couple of months but I still been working on it most days of the week with further signatures from Matt Le Tissier Andy Burnham and a personal favourite of mine Paul Chuckle hhaha. I am also continuing to try to get Liam Fray's attention with it. The petition has also been featured on a ITV news article. I  see it more now as about creating as much awareness as possible on access issues for disabled people as a whole rather than getting the required amount of signatures to get to parliament at this point as that will be difficult at this stage, but keep getting people to sign and share if you can as it creates awareness. Other campaigners are also trying to create awareness such as actress Cherylee Houston who has started #TakingtheDis on twitter and Facebook etc check that out and continue to support if you can.
