A petition launched by a Penzance mother who wants to see horse-riders given more protection on the roads has been officially handed over to Derek Thomas MP. In September, Debbie Smith, started a petition for it to be made a legal requirement for motorists to 'pass a horse wide and slow', after it amassed almost 20,000 supporters she has passed it on to her local MP.
