It has been revealed that a brand new Royal yacht is due to be commissioned soon, at a cost of up to £200m. At a time when many people throughout Britain are struggling financially due to the ongoing problems caused by the pandemic, whilst record numbers are being forced to rely on food banks to feed themselves and their families, this is a grotesque use of public money that could be spent in far better ways.

This petition calls on the Prime Minister and the UK Government to block this proposal and pledge to spend the money on a more deserving cause.
