UK government should sanction companies involved with I.C.E

The Issue

Every single day, we witness the horror and human rights abuses on the television that are being carried out by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE). It is painfully clear that their actions are nothing short of the terrorising of people of colour, and any rational observer can see the injustice being exacted against vulnerable communities and those who dare to oppose the divisive policies propagated by the current administration in the White House.

Companies such as Amazon, Palantir, Dell and others help to make ICE's campaign of brutality possible.

As individuals who value human rights and dignity, we cannot sit idly by while these atrocities continue. It is imperative that we take action against those who facilitate and profit from such inhumanity, particularly here in the UK where we have the jurisdiction to enforce change. The UK government must sanction any companies and their board members who hold contracts with ICE. By doing so, we can apply significant pressure and discourage these companies from supporting an agency embroiled in such serious ethical violations.

Sanctioning these facilitators is not only a moral obligation, but a necessary step towards holding accountable those complicit in perpetuating suffering. This action will send a clear message of condemnation while upholding the values of justice and humanity that we stand for.

We call upon the UK government to act decisively and use the tools at its disposal to sanction these companies. In doing so, not only will we ensure justice is served, but we will also deter future complicity in human rights abuses. This is within our remit.

Please join us in standing against this oppression. Sign and share this petition to demand that our government take action against those who enable ICE's continued devastation.
