On Tuesday 2nd December 2014 I discovered via The Independent’s webpage that female ejaculation had been banned in UK produced and sold pay-per-view pornography.  

 

This was one of many things now prohibited in porn made in the UK. Here is the full list;

 

Spanking

Caning

Aggressive whipping

Penetration by any object "associated with violence"

Physical or verbal abuse (regardless of if consensual)

Urolagnia (known as "water sports")

Female ejaculation

Strangulation

Facesitting

Fisting

What is female ejaculation?
Female ejaculation is the expulsion of fluid created when a female is sexually aroused. This usually occurs at orgasm. 
This is NOT the same as urinating on someone. Choosing to urinate on a person and female ejaculation are entirely different. Female ejaculation is usually an involutary side effect. 

 

I write this today to ask you to stand with me against the UK Government and demand that female ejaculation is legalised once again in UK produced and sold pornography.

 

There is no other word to describe this ban better than blatant sexism. How is it possible that in 2014 there is still an existing divide between men and women where a physical act is legal for one and illegal for another.

 

If there were such laws regarding the race of the porn actors, then there would be outrage.

 

In this modern age we should be teaching all women, young and old, to love their bodies and their sexuality. A healthy sexual relationship with your body and with others is vital to mental and physical wellbeing.

 

According to a survey of UK teens by The Daily Mail in September 2014, 46% of teens said sexting is a part of everyday life for teenagers. 70% said porn was seen as normal by their peers at school. Sex education in the UK is lacking, therefore many teenagers find out about sex via pornography. Whether this is right or not isn't relevant here, the fact is that this will be many teens first exposure to sex. They will never learn about the different sides to sexuality and when we as humans do not know about something, then we fear it and prejudices are created. Why are we not celebrating our differences that make us as humans so wonderful?

 

There are plenty of other causes that the UK Government could have turned their time and resources to, such as perhaps helping causes against female genital mutilation, domestic abuse and sex worker trafficking.

 

It is an out-of-date thinking to believe that female ejaculation is wrong yet male ejaculation is right. Please sign this petition to tell the UK Government to once again legalise female ejaculation in UK produced and sold pay-per-view pornography.
