Increase in the minimum wage to a real living wage

Increase in the minimum wage to a real living wage
The Issue
The Government will soon be announcing the increase in the minimum wage for April 2021.
Currently the minimum wage is just £8.72 per hour. It is estimated that 21% of UK workers are paid less than a real living wage (£9.30 per hour; £10.75 in London)
Many of these low paid workers are the people we have all relied on most in the Covid-19 crisis: care workers, shop workers, delivery drivers, cleaners, etc
We believe no one should be paid less than a living wage and call on the Government to increase the minimum wage to at least £10 per hour for all workers.
